I invite you to join me in the studio in this 3 min. video.

Art that examines the transience of Life, Nations and the Works of Man

I make artwork, often textile-based,  that reflects on the frailty of Life and inevitability of Death. This genre is called memento mori — meaning “remember you will die”.

Since 2016 much of my new work has been a response to the US “election” and the threat to our Democracy. History shows that nations and ideologies have life spans, too. Memento Mori, America.
